ISS expands partnership with major natural resources company in Pacific region
ISS expands its long-standing partnership with a major energy and resources customer in the Pacific region, securing a new five-year agreement.

ISS, a leading workplace experience and facility services company, has expanded its long-standing partnership with a major and energy resources customer in the Pacific region, securing a new five-year agreement valued at approximately AUD 23 million annually.
The contract will see ISS double its regional footprint with the client, increasing service delivery from two sites to four. These remote village locations, housing 2,000 residents, will benefit from a broad range of integrated facility services including catering, housekeeping, mine site cleaning, laundry, reception, maintenance, retail operations, and hospitality management.
Rebecca Morrison, Commercial Director at ISS, said the expansion reflects the strength of the relationship and shared values between the two organisations.
“This new agreement showcases the trust we’ve built with our client over time,” said Ms Morrison. “It enables us to bring our people-first approach to even more communities – and to continue doing what we do best: creating outstanding places to live and work.”
The agreement will see over 100 new jobs across the region, boosting local employment and contributing to the vibrancy of remote village life.
“We’re proud to be welcoming more than 100 new team members to support these expanded operations. From catering and housekeeping to cleaning and tavern services, they’ll be essential in delivering consistent, high-quality service,” said Ms Morrison.
As part of the new service delivery, ISS will roll out several innovations to enhance the resident experience and improve operational efficiency. These include a new QR Code Menu Ordering system, allowing village residents to easily browse and customise their meals – improving convenience, speed, and satisfaction.
In addition, the sites will benefit from upgraded cleaning equipment and advanced reporting dashboards that deliver real-time operational insights – enabling more transparent, responsive, and data-driven service delivery.
“We’ve seen the impact these innovations can have at some of our other client sites – delivering greater convenience and consistency, and ensuring service excellence,” Ms Morrison said. “We’re excited to bring those benefits to this partnership.”
The agreement highlights ISS’ commitment to sustainable, tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of remote workforces, while reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted partner in the energy resources sector.
“We look forward to continuing to enhance the experience for our client and their workforce, through flexible, innovative, and safe service delivery,” said Ms Morrison.
